Players of Battlefield 3 have been experiencing a weird bug that removes the HUD from the game.
For some, it makes the game unplayable, however for others, it only disappears when they enter a vehicle.
The bug appears to be frequently effecting the game, even if you restart the game it can still stay in some cases.
There are some fixes however they are not guaranteed, the fixes include:
- looking at the scoreboard through the menu, then coming back.
- quitting and restarting.
- dying and getting revived.
Hopefully DICE will be able to fix this bug as soon as possible. So tell us in the comments, have you had this bug before? and how did you fix it, maybe we can help others.

Same here but worst I can’t change to 3rd person mode on any vehicles now either!!
They must fix this terrible bug
Are you sure you weren’t in a hardcore game mode?
It’s happened to me before. I think it fixed itself after I was revived.
happening for me as well. characters, vehicles & weps all disappear sporadically
