A new crack from the Razor1911 group now allows Battlefield 3 players to play the game online without having to use Origin.
In their official statement they said:
Razor1911 doesn’t accept and support the online DRM “Origin” from EA.
This release is dedicated to our fans worldwide who bought this game on
legal way and don’t want to install the trojan from Electronic Arts to play
online.
The most worrying part of this is the fact that it completely bypasses Origin which could lead to further hacks. secondly nothing like this has happened to Origins’s better which is Steam therefore it is not the best way for Origin to start off.

I hate how biased this article is.
“secondly nothing like this has happened to Origins’s better which is Steam therefore it is not the best way for Origin to start off.”
First off, learn how to capitalize. I come here to read articles, not give grammar lessons to sloppy writers. Second, this is completely unprofessional. There is nothing wrong with Origin, as I have watched it’s network traffic myself and all it does is scan directories for save games and game files, which it syncs to the cloud.
Steam is not superior to Origin, while they both try to accomplish the same thing, they each have their own strengths and weaknesses. Origin is lighter on system resources, and unlike Steam, actually lets me play my games when I’m offline…because Steam makes you login (how stupid is that!?)
Enough with the biased writing.
Biased was the last thing I meant to be, Origin is basically offering the same service as Steam and Steam has been here a very long time so it has had a lot of time to mature and grow, if Origin wants to compete with Steam then this shouldn’t happen. Basically I see Origin and Steam as competitors and if Origin wants to do better then it should not have things like this happening. what do you think?
Steam has offline mode. x-x
Either way, I see what you mean, I don’t find anything wrong with Origin, it’s pretty nice actually. =]
