Not everyone has perfect internet, and especially when gaming it becomes clear just how good or bad your internet connection is. When hosting there is a large difference in the bandwidth used and this image presents that difference.

From this you can see how much bandwidth Modern Warfare 3 uses in different stages of the game, such as in lobby, hosting the game and more. Therefore when you’re in host you can see why more of your internet is being used up.

It’s actually an ASUS RT-N16 router, with brand new firmware that added in the real time bandwidth monitor.
Thats not much bandwidth at all. Even a terrible DSL connection can handle more traffic than that
How do you tell that you are host on MW 3?

MW3 doesn’t even use more than 1mb? Why the hell do I have a 30mb fiber optic connection if the speeds don’t even go into the mb’s, why do they imply lag compensation to people with good connections when pretty much 100% of people have at least a 1mb connection, this baffles me, I was expecting MW3 would take up a lot of constant bandwidth
